Are Brass Knuckles considered sexy for women?

I am wondering becuase i know a 20 year old who recently got some brass knuckles tatooed, and so many girls at my school have little images of them on their myspaces such as http://myspace.com/naturalblondexoxo
(she is a friend, so no worries there)
Are they condisered like “hot” or something? Obviously not to wear, but are they just branded……..hot? Why?
FYI ……. I live in an upper class little white girl catholic-up-your-ass-preppy school.

Its just a fad they are always happening. Its at my school too some of them are kinda cute like my friend has a keychain one and its got little diamonds on it but idk y they are so big i personally think its stupid. haha but there are alot of stupid fads ya know?
