what is the USA Navy boot camp like for women?

I am considering to join the navy.

When I went through I had a male CC (company comander) and a female one too. They both treated us like guys, especially the male CC. He had ‘pushed boots’ for guys before and didn’t believe in special treatment for girls. I came out of boot with some serious “guns”! (biceps) cause he would ‘punish’ us with upper body excercizes. This was in the 90’s, I understand the boot camps got a little too PC since then, so I am not sure, I will tell you that: So what if they get in your face and yell at you! So what if you get sleep deprived and miss home? It’s ONLY 2 months out of your career, or your entire life! The navy is worth it!
