What are your favourite foreign language movies?

Mine are (in no particular order); Amelie, Cinema Paradiso, Sophie Scholl, Three colours trilogy (especially “blue”), Italian for beginners, Life is beautiful, City of god, and Jean de florette/Manon des sources.

I like french film noir films.
Betty Blue and La grande bouffe (French)
Il Postino and cinema paradiso (Italian)
and of course la dolce vita

I have seen all the films you mentioned and many others
i could not possibly name them all
